Händel Opera: Orlando

Orlando certainly counts among Händel’s masterpieces for the stage. Orkester Nord and Martin Wåhlberg here brings together a stellar cast for the performance of Handel’s Orlando at the 2020 edition of Barokkfest. Headed by the exuberant Max Emmanuel Cenčić in the title role, the stellar cast includes soprano Sophie Karthäuser as Angelica and soprano Nuria Rial as Dorinda, as well as contralto Delphine Galou as Medoro and Norwegian baryton Håvard Stensvold as Zoroastro.
